How do I post a free event on Map.ca?

Free community events are free to post on Map.ca. You add a Pin at the real location of the event, give it a date and tags for what it is, and it shows up on the EventsMap alongside everything else happening nearby.

There is no listing fee for a free event and nothing taken at the door — Map.ca’s paid Pin is only for paid or ticketed events, and even then it is a flat $21/year with no cut of sales.

Because the listing is a Pin on a public map rather than a one-off page, people discover it by proximity, and your presence persists between events.
